Military history is part of our shared past and is still visible all around us. Military historical sites can be visited in Northern Finland mainly on the Finnish ground, especially the sites of the Winter War. Military history provides an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the history of Finland.

Embark on an interesting and timely journey of military history to the sites of Northern Finland with an expert. Sites in Finland include, for example, Kuhmo, Suomussalmi, or the battle sites of Lapland War. During the journey we dive into the history of the Finnish wars of 1939-45. On the journey you will see historical sites, experience historical stories and get familiar with the Finnish “sisu”.  

In addition, it is possible to travel to Western Europe, where you can get acquainted with the military history of several different eras. Examples include Waterloo 1815 (Belgium), the Western Front 1914–18 (Belgium and France), Normandy 1944 (France) or the Ardennes 1944 (Belgium and Luxembourg).
